Year 10 Geography - Visit to Bradgate Park

Full CalendarTrips Calendar

This event will take place between 9:30am and 3:00pm on 19/09/2017

Fieldwork is an important element of the GCSE Geography Syllabus. To fulfil this requirement, we propose to take a group of year 10 students to Bradgate Park studying the characteristics of a river. This trip will provide the students with an opportunity to collect information for their GCSE field work examination. It is important that your child takes part in this field visit in order to allow them to be able to answer the subsequent questions in their examination.

Students should bring writing equipment including a pen and pencil along with a packed lunch as there will not be an opportunity for students to buy anything when we are there. If your child receives a free school dinner, then a packed lunch will be provided.

Students are requested to dress appropriately for the day. They do not need to be in full uniform. Please be aware, we will be outside for all of the day so comfortable and appropriate outdoor footwear (wellies if possible) and a waterproof coat are essential.
