Homework

At Fullhurst, we recognise the importance of homework for all students in order to consolidate and enhance their understanding as well as to develop essential literacy, numeracy and study skills. We will ensure that homework is a meaningful extension of classroom learning and that it will aid progress.

Homework in KS3

Every student is expected to do homework, beginning with approximately one hour per evening in year 7 and increasing as students progress through the college. Students are able to complete homework in the library at lunchtime and after college. We also run drop in sessions for students needing to use IT to complete homework . If students face any difficulties with their homework, then please make contact with us so that this can be addressed. We would ask for your support in promoting the importance of homework to your son or daughter and to support their learning by encouraging them to develop good study habits.
