This year’s piece, devised and written by the students themselves, told the hilarious and heartfelt story of a group of students stuck in detention after a massive food fight. From script to stage, the entire production showcased their creativity, teamwork, and talent.

The day began with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Curve, giving students a glimpse into the professional theatre world.

In the afternoon, they took part in a full technical run, experiencing what it truly feels like to be part of a working theatre company before performing to an audience of proud parents and carers.

Their behaviour, perseverance, and resilience throughout the day were outstanding — they truly did themselves and the school proud. Many parents shared how much they’ve enjoyed watching the club evolve over the year, with several commenting that this was the best performance yet!
