World Mental Health Day 2025
Fullhurst proudly joined millions around the world in recognising World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness, promoting understanding and reminding everyone that mental health is just as important as physical health.
Students took part in activities designed to spark conversation and reflection about wellbeing. At lunchtime, the library was buzzing with energy as students challenged themselves with mental health–themed word scrambles and word searches. These fun puzzles not only tested their vocabulary but also helped reinforce positive messages about self-care, resilience, and support.
One of our talented students, Kotryna, created a beautiful and thought-provoking poster about how to recognize the signs that someone might be struggling with their mental health.
World mental health day really enforced our school values, reminding us that a small act of kindness or a simple conversation can make a big difference.
Through activities like these, our school community continues to show that we care for one another, and that talking about mental health is a sign of strength, not weakness.
To further mark the occasion, our school took part in the #Take10ToRead initiative, encouraging everyone to pause and enjoy ten minutes of reading.
Reading isn’t just great for learning — it’s also a powerful way to relax, reduce stress, and boost mental wellbeing. The campaign reminded us all that taking just ten minutes a day to read can make a real difference to how we feel.
