Fullhurst Legacy Garden!
We’re excited to announce the creation of the Fullhurst Community College Legacy Garden - a lasting space where each year group can leave their mark on our school for generations to come. Although our students are with us for only a short time, their contributions will continue to bloom year after year, reminding us all of their place in Fullhurst’s story.
Year 11 were the first to contribute to the Legacy Garden by planting daffodils. These bright, cheerful flowers bloom from March to April - a perfect time for our Year 11 students to see them in full colour during their final term. Daffodils symbolise new beginnings, hope, joy, and resilience - qualities that beautifully captured the spirit of our students as they prepared for their exams and the next stage of their journeys.
Year 7 also took part! They planted irises, chosen for their vibrant blue petals that flower in June and July, just in time for the end of their first year and Sports Day celebrations. The iris represented faith, hope, trust, wisdom, and courage - fitting values for our newest members of the Fullhurst family as they settled into life at the college.
Together, these plantings formed the roots of something special - a living legacy that will grow, bloom, and inspire for years to come.
