De Montfort University Days
This term, our students took part in two-hour ‘DMU Day’ workshops, designed to open their eyes to the many opportunities available when they finish school. The sessions focused on helping students understand that university is accessible to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance. It also provided insight to what University life is like.
Students also received practical guidance on budgeting and managing finances, giving them valuable skills to support their future independence.
Students were encouraged to ask questions and engage with one another throughout. It was a positive, empowering experience that left students feeling informed and inspired about their future choices.
