Big Ideas!
Our Year 8 students took part in an inspiring Big Ideas Day, part of the Solutions for the Planet Big Ideas Programme. The event gave students the chance to explore sustainability challenges and think creatively about how to solve real-world problems.
Working in teams, students tackled issues that matter to them, using curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to develop their very own Big Ideas. The creativity and collaboration on display were truly impressive!
Throughout the day, students also met mentors from local businesses, gaining insights into how STEM skills can make a real difference in tackling global challenges. Each team presented their ideas with confidence, passion, and professionalism, demonstrating just how capable our young innovators are.
It was a fantastic day full of learning, creativity, and inspiration – a real testament to the bright minds and big hearts of our Year 8 students!
