Fullhurst Students go to Space
Last week 48 year 8 students headed to the National Space Centre.
Pupils took part in a workshop where they learnt and experimented in programming a “Mars Rover”. They were all inspired to see how maths can be applied in the real world, who knows we might have some Fullhurst astronauts in the future!
Throughout the day students scored points by successfully completing set challenges. They were given time to explore the National Space Centre and then to round off their visit they were taken to see a show called “Astronaut” in the planetarium.
Thanks to staff for organising the trip and students for brilliant behaviour.
