Fullhurst Community College is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Governing Body. You don't need to have a background in education – we're looking for people with a range of skills, experiences and perspectives who are passionate about making a positive difference in our community.

Why become a School Governor?

As a governor, you won't be involved in the day-to-day running of the school. Instead, you'll work as part of a team to provide strategic leadership, support and challenge, helping to ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

A role that fits around your life

Many people are surprised by how manageable the commitment is. The core expectation is simply to attend three Governing Body meetings each academic year. Training and ongoing support are provided, so whether you're new to governance or have previous experience, you'll be welcomed and supported throughout your journey.
