Our 5-year Careers Programme is based on the following themes: 

Year group Theme
Year 7 Building aspirations
Year 8 Understanding industry sectors
Year 9 Pathways to the future
Year 10 Planning  for the future
Year 11 Transition to the future

We evaluate our careers provision on an ongoing basis using a combination of student, parent, business and staff feedback alongside reviewing our student's destinations and our NEET figure.

 Positive Steps at 16  provides an array of help and guidance for post 16 routes.

  What Work Leicestershire is a local labour market guide for young people.

Connextions logo

  Connexions is the careers service for young people in Leicester. They have information about jobs, careers, training
  and apprenticeships.

National Careers Service logo

  National Careers Service has careers information and job profiles on almost 800 different types of job

Barclays Lifeskills logo

  LifeSkills, created with Barclays, helps young people get the skills and experiences they need to enter the world of
  work.
icould logo   icould includes 1000 films of personal career stories, across all occupations.  It can give you inspiration for your career.

Plotr logo

  Plotr can help you to discover your future and guide you to careers you could be great at. Whether you’ve got a career
  in mind or you haven’t got a clue.

Informed Choices logo

  Informed Choices is aimed at all students considering A-level and equivalent options. It includes advice on the best
  subject combinations for a wide range of university courses as well as advice on the best choices if you don’t know
  what you want to study after school and need to keep your options open
