The Hardship Fund
The Hardship Fund exists to support Fullhurst students whose family circumstances mean that they may need support and financial assistance, for example with buying uniform or participating in educational trips and events. As there are only limited funds, we endeavour to ensure that grants reach those most in need of support. If this is something that you would like to enquire about, please contact your child's Head of Year.
Holiday Food Programme
Leicester City Council are running a programme throughout the summer holidays to provide food and fun activities for children who receive free school meals. The programme aims to alleviate any pressure on families during the holidays and provide engagement for local children.

Our catering options
Fullhurst Community College operates a cashless catering system. Students can add money to their student cards at any of the three machines around college.
If your child is eligible for free school meals, £2.05 is added to their account daily. This will not show as a balance on the account at the machines but will show up when students go to pay for their meal. Free school meals provision is completely discrete and there is no visible way for students to identify who has or has not received a free school meal.
Caterlink are specialist caterers within schools, colleges and universities and are passionate about fresh, healthy food that tastes great. They know that the right nutrients can affect everyone’s mood, behaviour, health, growth and even their ability to concentrate and by encouraging students to eat a well-balanced diet establishes healthy eating now and for the future.
Available daily in the dining room is a core menu with meat and vegetarian choices; pasta, jackets, salads and home made soup. Once a week there will also be a 'concept day' featuring 'Mexican Kitchen', "Quirky Bird" chicken and 'Pizza Market' . We are sure these will become firm favourites with the students!
